Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic tested positive for the coronavirus while on international duty with Croatia.
At a Glance Sports – Marcelo Brozovic was confirmed by the Croatian Football Federation that he returned a positive test result for the Inter midfielder on Friday (13/11/2020).
The Croatian Football Federation (HNS) announced the Covid-19 results, along with a staff member, and confirmed that he is in self-isolation.
An additional test comes before Saturday's Nations League match with Sweden after Croatian defender Domagoj Vida returned a positive test in Istanbul on Wednesday.
“The test results showed two positive results, for the national team member Marcelo Brozovic and the national team staff member,” read the statement.
“The two of them were immediately isolated from other members of the national team. Inter was informed about the positive test results. “
Vida was informed of his positive test during the midweek bout with Turkey.

As well as Brozovic and Vida's diagnosis, the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) confirmed that forward Mohamed Salah,
Has tested positive for the coronavirus following initial confusion over the Liverpool star's test results.
The EFA initially announced on Friday that Salah had tested positive before later erasing the statement and issuing a different announcement,

But a follow-up statement from the EFA on Friday confirmed that Salah's second swab was also positive,
Which means the 28-year-old will now be forced into self-isolation.
“The Egyptian National Team and Liverpool star Mohamed Salah have undergone a second test, and the results confirm that Salah has tested positive for Covid-19,” said an EFA statement.
“All necessary medical precautions have been taken in line with global medical protocols,
And under Dr. Mohamed Sutan, Head of the Medical Committee at EFA and Dr. Mohamed Abou El Ela, the Egyptian National Team doctor.
“While the first swab gave positive results, the Egyptian FA has decided to carry out a second test to confirm the results.
“Salah remains in high spirits and doesn't show any symptoms of the virus.
“He has been isolated and the National Team doctor is currently in contact with Dr. Jim Moxon, Liverpool FC chief medical staff, on this matter. “
