Cristiano Ronaldo has tested positive for the coronavirus and will miss the Nations League match against Sweden on Wednesday.
At a glance Sports – Portugal just got bad news, their flagship striker Cristiano Ronaldo has been declared exposed to the coronavirus.
The news was confirmed directly by the Portuguese Football Federation. Cristiano's infection was discovered after he finished undergoing tests.

“Following the positive cases, the remaining players underwent their latest tests this Tuesday morning.
All the results are negative, and are available for Fernando Santos team for training this afternoon at City of Football. ” statement from the Portuguese Football Federation (PFF).
Portugal also added that the attacker had to be out of action for several weeks, and is now being released.

Ronaldo has played in both Portugal games so far during the international break,
It started with a friendly against Spain in Lisbon and then went all out in the 0-0 draw with France on Sunday.
The stalemate in Paris means Portugal and France are both on seven points, with Ronaldo's side topping the group on goal difference.
Sweden meanwhile are bottom of the group, having failed to take a point from their first three matches.
Portugal itself is scheduled to compete in the UEFA Nations League continued on Thursday morning (15/10/2020) WIB against Sweden.
